There are no good Bolivian restaurants around... sadly they don't serve any fish or vegetarian option there.

This is a place you go if you enjoy horrible service. No one at this restaurant wants customers to come in. They dislike customers. customers get in their way. Customers make them have to work and they hate work. They starred us down when we came in.
So we walk in and they just look at us and say nothing. We didn't know what to do? Do we sit down? Do we seat ourselves? Not sure. No signs saying seat yourself. No employees saying "hi" or "may I help you" or "please be seated."
If you look at my pictures, the place is empty, no wonder. They have a bar, no one is sitting there, no wonder. The place is empty. I start to wonder? How the heck do they stay in business?
We walk over to the bakery counter and look at the stuff, still no one says a word to us. They are avoiding us like the plague. It's really odd. We all showered that morning so we didn't stink. I the walk over to the counter an I see a menu. As you can see I had the time to take pictures of the entire menu and still no one says a word to us. Is no one will even look at us.
We were in there maybe 10 minutes and no one ever said a word. So you know what? We left. Screw them. So I can't tell you how good the food is. Because we never got a chance to try it. Look take my advise. Don't bother coming to this place. Life is short, don't waste your time here. -

I was afraid of coming here due to the poor reviews at first but it really is pretty good food. Service was pretty inattentive but always served with a smile, and the food came out fast- 15-20 min for two dishes. Ambiance was good, cute little colorful place with a tv and has a cozy feel.
However, this was around 6:30 on a Sunday and they didn't have saltenas or any appetizers!! Sad about that.
My friend and I shared the following:
Fricase soup- pork bone soup. A little salty for my liking but very hearty for a winter day. My Bolivian friend said it was authentic and good. 4.5/5
Silpancho- ground beef patty over rice, potatoes, and tomatoes, and runny egg on top. One of my favorite Bolivian dishes usually but it wasn't as good as ones I've had. The quality of the meat isn't great, but the potatoes and rice were well seasoned, and runny egg was well cooked. 4/5
Mochachini- cinnamon drink with peach hull. I liked it but a little too sweet for my liking, ask for less sweet.
Overall, I would come back if I were in the area, but comparing this to Kantutas in Wheaton, the quality is not as good. -

This Place is so bad! I tried the meat and the torta, TERRIBLE I would rather have eaten a mcdonalds Cheeseburger.

Cecilia's bakery is a bolivian restaurant but it is a hit or miss. I usually come here on Sunday's and it gets very crowded especially during lunch. The servers are always attentive and food is delivered fast.
This time i came here during lunch on a weekday, and it was very empty.
Our server was attentive at first, but everything started going downhill. We order saltenas in the beginning and he forgot to bring them, and then he wanted to charge us.
SIDE NOTE: They already include the tip within your bill, which is something they never use to do.
Overall the food is amazing, but the servers need to be more attentive. I would reccommend to come to this restaurant during the weekend, as there is more people and the servers are more fast pace.
